If you are a real sad bunny you can even load other versions of the fkae soundtrack...make it sound like a 4 pot or 8 pot

I used Bimmercode to turn off ASD. Doing so also decreased volume from the rear speakers. To balance the sound for listening to music the fade must be set to almost completely shut off the front speakers. I coded ASD back on and the stereo works like it should.

What's the cheapest OBD device (available in UK) that works with these programmes? I recently invested £75 in VAG stuff, just to switch off a few things in Cupra and would prefer to cut costs on another device. Shame there's no universal ODB device.

Scubaregs, did you experience this when you did yours? I was thinking about it but not if it detracts from the quality of the music playback.

I thought you’d turned off the artificial/piped in engine sounds. Must’ve been someone else.

I can’t say I’m that conscious of it on the M40 but roof down almost all the time bit would consider turning it off if it’s worse with the roof up.

Nope, the sound of the car doesn’t bother me.

I don't think it's too bad at motorway speeds with the roof up or down as it's pootling around town that I found it most annoying
