Regards the remap, I would advertise it as a "full power" 2 litre. If you explain to punters that the N20 was designed to produce 245bhp, ala 28i, then the 20i was 'strangled' from the factory for marketing reasons.
Your generic remap will have headline figures of 270 ish bhp, but that will be on 98 RON fuel, therefore if you market it as 250-260bhp (which is more likely what it's producing on 95 RON), that's only a smidge over the 245 of "standard" so should help alay fears of a "modified" car. HTH

Regarding pictures; pictures with the doors, boot and bonnet open can be confusing IMO, as you can't see the car. Roof up showing the whole car and loads with the roof down is the way traders post pics.

Another option is to increase the price a little on advertising (the car is already cheap) and offer to have the map removed if it doesn't suit the buyer.. most of the companies that do these offer this for a small fee.. maybe contact the installation company and ask about cost.. may aid your sale for a more cautious buyer, i still think it will sell as is though tbh with a good advert reaching a wider audience and a little patience

Okay, thanks to you guys, I've managed to get the photos up properly.

Peeing down with rain here today so will have to wait until the weather picks up before I get some better ones. And thanks for the advice on pricing and where to advertise - that really helps.

Ming. I don't think you will have much trouble shifting your car; it has an awful lot going for it. Great colour combo, I-drive, reasonable mileage, good asking price and it looks SHINEY (in my experience the best draw of all). Maybe mention you are an owner's club member or enthusiast, this again gives people the impression your car has been looked after and "cherished" by you. Should help counteract any misgivings regarding the "upgrades".

I agree, even at £14k reserve its still a cheap car based on the colour / spec / mileage and yes I would also mentioned owners club (enthusiast owned).

Just state that if the car was a 28i (same power with the remap) then it would be £2k more so make's it sound like a bargain IMHO

She was even better in the flesh I have to say. Remarkable condition. Could have eaten lunch inside the engine compartment.
