I know you’ve asked Peter. But…
I have MHD Stage 1 OTS map and a bespoke xHP map by R.E92. The downshifts are much faster with xHP compared with stock. I’ve also learnt that keeping the throttle partially open whilst downshifting improves rev-matching significantly. Left foot braking and the aux pedal helps with that manoeuvre.

Thanks, appreciate any info. It is very tempting to go with XHP, but I think at the moment it'll be more worthwhile putting those funds towards Birds damping setup or Quaife LSD.

Torque sending LSD way to go.. :driving:
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

Yes, a proper mechanical LSD is gold. No question.

At the pace I drive in the hills of NorCal, I’m not sure I’d feel a difference between the OEM ‘computerised LSD’ and a proper LSD. I don’t ‘race’ in the streets. I’d have to find a car with one and somebody to let me have a go.

That said, the full xHP licence is (only) £212.44, and you’ll feel the difference in Sport+ downshifting speeds right away.
