Hi,
Looking for a bit of help and recommendations please.
Looking to get my alloys (19inch 296's) refurbished (one of them has a rim crack so needs welding). Any recommendations for a suitable reconditioner (ideally one who has loaner wheels) in the Derby area - or Derbyshire?
Many thanks
John

Hey John,
I'm based in Nottingham and just had my alloys diamond cut at The Wheel Specialist today, they have done a fantastic job after me abusing the car daily for 7 years.
£336.00 for the alloys themselves to be diamond cut, but came out in total to £393.60 because of balancing (incs VAT in these amounts).
They're based at Unit 1 Harrimans Lane, Alcester Street, Nottingham, NG7 2UR, located behind showcase if that helps.
Jack

Thanks for that Jack,
In the end used Speedy’s wheels in Derby. They were able to provide a loan set of wheels for the car which was a must have for me. At first glance you look at their facilities and think ‘oh my god what am I doing here!’ But their service was spot on, the quality is excellent and they were on time. I had 4 296s refurbed, including a weld repair, and they were the same price as everyone else, but they included a loan set of wheels - so happy days!
Cheers
John

That’s interesting
Wheel specialist birmingham have just quoted 126 per wheel, so more than same company in Notts.

Wheel specialists Birmingham quoted me £90 per corner.
I've found a place in Aldridge that does the set for £180!

I had a couple of wheels welded by a Guy in Clay Cross for £45 each..both are still ok and you would hardly know they have been welded
