Centre console trim removal - help please

Post by Jamie2.5 » Sun Jun 06, 2021 10:25 am

Morning all

I have wrapped my Alu trim dash and door handles in the 3M carbon fibre but still need to do the centre console trim. All other videos show how to remove the full centre console itself and not just the aluminium - does any body know if this can be done?

Thanks 😊

Yes, can be done but you still need to get the full console out and then unscrew the trim. Have fun!

The first time is a PITA... bit like your first shag, got some idea but no experience

IMO the hardest part is removing the plastic door in between the seats... just remove the two tiny screws & be brave, it will come out πŸ‘

I managed it without removing the door, I could not get that b@stard out for love nor money!! The screws beneath the door under that little plastic cover where a sod to get out with the door in place.

Well I've seen the invite link being directly posted on this forum in the last week by another member, so just naming the website seems really not a big deal, but by all means get on your high horse. everyone knows about this place.

ok, so just because some other dufus here posted a link you think it exonerates you from adding to the risk of the workaround site being taken down?
great logic. keep it up fella.

If it really bothers you sharing the knowledge with others why not just download the contents of the site and have it offline, it's not hard dufus. No need for you to worry then
