Z4M Coupe - Monaco Blue

Time to let her go. What a really very lovely experience it has been. Would love for another enthusiast to have it next.

79k miles, covered and stored so won't change. I know what I need out of the car so am happy to discuss offers.

Advert is on auto trader and piston heads. Will add photos and description here as I work out how to do it on my phone.

I assume you've had plenty of 'got a budget of 8k m8 let me no thx'

Absolutely does my head in - I sold my wife's M135i a few weeks ago, but had several months of painful phonecalls and messages to that effect.

Glwts, the car looks fantastic

I feel your pain.

I advertised on Facebook, autotrader and the 5 series group for my F11.

It was a torrent of mongs, rude questions or offers of 66% of asking price.

Just stick with it mate.

Hi All, been a member a while but not an avid poster as forums freak me out a bit as I don't want to offend and not good with words :)

I've had over 1000k views on autotrader, 1 phone call which was me checking it worked.

Is my advert rubbish, what am I doing wrong?

Truth be told I'm at a point where I'll keep it because I know what an absolute blinder it is or I'll make a rash decision and part ex for a 911 because I want to scratch a 25 year itch. If someone offered me part ex value now they might catch me out.

I hate selling cars...worst part of ownership.

Chris

Hi,

At the very least I would have listed the full service history, including dates, mileage, work carried out and by whom.

There isn't much info for a potential buyer in the advert.

Selling anything expensive is in a weird place at the moment, I'm having a torrid time trying to sell my evo too (if it had gone by now, I'd have given you a call! - I'd much rather buy a car that's been looked after & had vanos and the bearings done, than have 20k fewer miles.)

I think the advert is fine tbh, having the service history on show would be useful but given you've said you've replaced the rod bearings etc, a serious buyer isn't going to be put off by having to call and ask. The world is just very weird at the moment.

Looks like the advert on PH has expired.

Link on Autotrader for anyone that would like to see it (including the pleasant chap who I spoke with just now)

I went to view this car with it only 20 miles away from me and almost bought it.
Chris is a very honest genuine seller I feel bad even agreeing a price only to go home and take stock ponder it and rule it out. .My heart was ruling over my head and with an impending move to the hills in 2 weeks and having to use the car daily for a 140 mile round trip I couldn't bring myself to buy it.Although I really did want it I couldnt see it living outside all weathers and being used during the winter especially driving in the Shropshire hills.
very glad I went to view to see how great it is. Trouble is when the M Coupe is in your veins it's hard to shake off after selling my Sepang bronze M I was finding it hard to not think of getting another 1 The reality is I need a low mileage car even a diesel commuter. We took the car on a long test drive it performed brilliantly and drove very well. The bodywork is in fantastic condition given its 80k miles and if anything the pictures do not do the car any justice. The interior apart from light wear on the seat bolster is also in great shape no Mark's on wheel very few scratches on steering wheel controls and the stubby gear shifter is perfect.Lots of maintenance has been done over the last few years including shells the old shells didnt even really show any wear.Eibach springs replaced drop links discs and pads the list goes on.
Better pictures can be found on the link below where the current owner purchased the vehicle.
For anyone looking for a very very good Rare M coupe I advise you to view this one.

Sorry to hear you sold your Sepang one James, although you do seem to like swapping your cars!

Still an MC possibly isn't an ideal choice for a 140 mile commute.

It sounds like Chris's car is a great example so I wish him well with the sale.

Looks like it’s been sold buddy.

The seymourpope advert is when the current owner purchased it.I was adding it for anyone wanting to see how the colour really looks in the metal. As the current advert pictures really dont do it any justice as all.

That is absolutely stunning! I really wish i could buy this right now. Anyone wanna buy an Si coupe? :P

It really is stunning and 1 of only 14
Pretty rare imola red and monaco blue combo with carbon dash.Better still owner is willing to have a deal 😍😍👍

Thanks all for feedback

I have typed up service records and have recorded all services MOTs etc, proof of all major works, a couple of purchase receipts (including mine, gulp! nearly made me cry...maybe a 911 can wait), and 23 other receipts including metal tests, springs, wheels etc.

Has been in good hands over the years but none as good as mine. Cars need owners as stupid as me, not a penny spared.

Will add photos of the history to the Autotrader advert (don't know how to add pics here, I'm a bit analogue) and can now share a detailed spreadsheet of the whole lot for anybody that is having trouble sleeping.

Again thanks for the feedback. Nice forum this.

Adding those details certainly won't do any harm OP.

Putting photos on here is pretty straight-forward now.

When you are typing a post, down below where you type it there are 2 tabs Options and Attachments. Click on the Attachments one and you'll find an "Add files" button - click on that then select the "Browse" option to find the photo you want. Bear in mind the first photo you add will appear at the bottom if you add more than one, so add the best one last!

Pretty sure its stated that they are csl style wheels in the advert mate. Also in the seymourpope advert too.Tbf they are decent looking reps.
