No doubt not to everyone's taste but for me the perfect balance of Style, fun, performance, looks, class and in my favourite colour.

So what's yours. Not your ultimate, dream machine, but the one, that if you had the dosh, you would happily drive to the shops or to work or to a pub lunch, every time the sun comes out. :)
Love it but make mine a manual coupe please.

I was actually looking at V8 manual coupes, when I spotted this one. Not sure they do the V12S in manual. If so then yes that would be even better. Though still the drop top for me. As there would also be other, more compromised cars in a perfect garage, for track, off road and tip runs.

I don’t think they made many:

The early V8s are almost cheap in coupe form now, starting at £25k...

They're really tempting at £25k-ish...if you have it for 4k miles a year then this or a low miles Z4MC or 997.1 C2S....quite a tough choice

:? How is the Cali T the worst Ferrari ever..? It’s a sizemic shift up from the N/A one, then there’s the 400i, 348, Testarossa....cars of that ilk....etc etc, they’re pretty nasty for a Fezz.

I drove a v8 vantage around thruxton. The auto gearbox with paddle shifters was woefully slow to react. Lovely car that would be a pleasure to cruise about in, but I think the Z4MC would be the better choice if you want to go nuts on a track.

No such thing as the perfect car, which is why people who buy the cars above only keep them for 1 or 2 years. They get bored with them and move on to the next 'perfect car'. Collectors who own the classic Porsche's, Bugatti's etc., keep them as an investment and rarely drive them. The grass is always greener...
Possibly just me. But I buy my cars and then keep them until they are no longer viable to maintain. Never yet sold one because I was bored with it?
Hi buzyg. Lots of people buy cars and keep them for many years, but don't regard them as the 'perfect car' and neither do you unless you have just bought the Aston Martin Vantage V12.

V12S if you don't mind. So you admit it's perfect then. 8)

That’s why I didn’t replace my Zed with a Vantage a few years ago. As a very pretty road car, the V8V is becoming a tempting proposition though.

911 Targa 4 GTS for me, specifically in Carmine Red. Bit too pricey though :(

Some nice choice suggestions here, though despite its clunky experience would still stick with the Porsche Speedster... bit like why I have the MCoupe, nostalgia & a landmark in automotive history

+1 for a Vantage V12s  I’ve been keeping an eye on auto trader and the early V8 models are becoming tempting but I’m wondering what they are like to maintain as I’ve heard the build quality is shite from a few owners. Still need to scratch that Aston itch one day though

Surprised that one didn't come up sooner, they do fit the breif sooo well. Not quite special enough for my top shelf though.
