Thinking about an Alpina - a few questions

Hi,
As above really I'm starting to think an Alpina might be in my future and have been reading up on them on here and elsewhere however I have a few questions I've not been able to find answers for.
I believe the Alpina uses the E36 M3 gearbox but what diff does it use? Does it have an LSD and what is the diff ratio?
I've read on here the front brakes are 3.0si discs with z4m pads, but what calipers does it use.
Head gasket wise if it goes whats the latest on the best replacement etc?
Other than the head gasket issue are there any other major failure points specific to the Alpina?

Thanks in advance
