Time to choose some wheels. Due to the escalating costs I have to make a bit of a compromise. The 3 piece split rims I would have liked were far too much and BBS CH don't come in the size I want. I am going 18x10s all round. In the Targa events I plan to do we are restricted to two spares so having different sizes isn't practical.
I am going for black and have narrowed it down to either Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 or 2Forge ZF1. The team Dynamics come in at £964.58 (Set of 4) and weigh 10.75kg the ZF1s are £939.98 and weigh 8.95kg. I am leaning towards the ZF1 for obvious reasons but I know that the pro race is a good strong wheel for motorsport and don't know much about 2forge. Any input is welcome.

Bodywork is starting to go back on. Wiring being done. Lots of stuff being delivered, AIM MXP STRADA dash, Tillet seats, plumbed in fire extinguisher, 2Forge ZF1 wheels. A ton of little jobs to be done!

Awesome progress.. is this in Tassie yet? which wheel size did you go for? 18? or 19? and which tillett seats did you end up with? Steve is a great guy to deal with. I hope you didn't grab the low side ones? easier to get in and out of the car, but no wear near the support of the higher side ones.
would love to see this in person once you get it sorted
If i was at this stage again, id probably would have bitten the bullet and ordered the floss man WB kit.
Looking great so far mate
have you got any more info on the engine, that vanos delete is going to make it a pig to drive unless your flat chat. id also love to know what duration cams you went with.

I went for 18x10s all round.
I went for the B6 Screamer as that is the only one with FIA approval.
I wanted to keep it to GT4 spec and a wide body kit would have made it ineligible for Targa.

You are welcome to come and take a look when it finally gets here !

OP, when the car is complete, would it be possible to come and see and hear it, before you ship it to Tas? I quite understand if you'd rather not, but this maybe the only time that most of us would ever see a true 'race' Z4..if not, maybe let us know when and where you are going to do your shakedown running?Z4MGT4 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 2:25 amThe car is still in the UK.Vanne wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 7:00 am Awesome progress.. is this in Tassie yet? which wheel size did you go for? 18? or 19? and which tillett seats did you end up with?
