Great videos Willie,loved the captions.
Some of those campers were twats,as was the inexperienced looking female in the Silver Toyota.....looked what scared when we passed her.
They ignore warnings of not going there if inexperienced/not very capable,or in campers, etc but they don't listen, lol.

Love the view, keep em coming

You need to get yourself an external microphone with a foam cover and route it somewhere to try and cut down on the wind noise.
You could route it inside the car to give a commentary or under the bonnet for engine/induction noise.

Worse even for Mike who nearly ran out of fuel because of it!!!

It takes a bit longer to put the roof on a Westfield than just about anything!!!!!

Really enjoyed that run back to the Strath. Wanted to get back on those roads this weekend but the weather has been awful and isn't due to get better for a while yet.

What mount and camera did you use?
Hahaha yeah we werent 100% sure, I did assume you had pulled off to do the lid but we decided to check :P
Its just a cheap as chips triple suction mount from amazon and a GoPro Hero 4.... I think

Thanks dude! The lassie in the silver toyota was unreal, think she thought it was a battleship she was driving.

Unfortunately not, I had planned to put it on a couple of times but my storage capacity was limited.

Yeah it would be better, any suggestions on reasonably priced ones?
The plan is to upload a separate version with music instead of audio from the camera.

I might have a spare you can have.

Let me know whether your’s needs a USB or 3.5mm one.

One is a Sony ECM-DS30P, the other is a Sony ECM-CS3.

The DS30P has a foam cover for external use, but I can’t find the furry ‘windscreen’ one...but it was just something like this (although mine was grey).

The CS3 has only ever been used for internal use when I’ve had the camera head-mounted.

I had 5 ltrs in the boot just in case lol but agree that was a cracking bit of road - whats that motto "never leave anyone in the field" or something like that
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the fence with the front of the car,
OVERSTEER is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car,
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the fence,
TORQUE is how far you take the fence with you.

I could but they are very large files (couple of gb each) and the size of the folder is limited, if people want the footage to keep lemme know and I will do a short term separate folder for 24hrs that will allow you to pull down the file onto a PC/Laptop  :D
