Sad to see the way this has gone.

thats my point exactly....

never in a million years is it normal for a man to put this much effort in building up a business, thats clearly successful and ruin it basically treating people like this. Myself included!... but over a back box and jack pads, and silly minor stuff, its just non nonsensical.

It almost looks like he WANTS his business to go under.
These are very minor things, when you own a business its easy to fully reimburse these kind of amounts of money if your head isnt set to solving these niggles themselve (solving them would be better of course).
Point is that you do this before it goes out and s**t hits the fan on the internet if your clientele comes from the internet.
I don't understand why someone would act like this when owning a business.

Im pretty sure he wont pay, and then your next recourse to to sue or employ a bailiff to collect payment, who then takes a cut

I'm of the opinion he will push this to the limit, crazy as all the additional costs will be piled on top of the debt and original court fees. If high court sheriffs get involved they clear out zed shed if they have to and he could well end up on the Beeb! All because Rocket had the gall to post on here and ask where his long over due backbox was. Crazy but its not a surprise, just look back to how me reacted when Beedub asked him for a few missing parts.

Yes I got my money with a small amount for court costs. Mike phoned on the last day possible to have the court judgement struck of the record. He said he was unaware of my numerous letters and emails and had no knowledge of the court case and the letters they sent. I was somewhat amazed at this version of events, but not altogether surprised.

Glad you finally got your money back. A load of hassle you could have done without though.

Yes, 7 months of hassle but for anyone interested it can all be done online. I think if the case is contested a visit to the court may be necessary. The final step which I did not get to was to ask the court to collect the money. I believe a fee is paid to the court and they add it to the amount to be collected, but as I said I did not get to that stage.

Glad its finally sorted, 7 months completely indefensible although no doubt some on here will. For absolute proof positive he knew all about it you only have to look back to a post on here by Jamiez4 where he says he told him to sort this mess back last year. Road Warrior also said he raised the issue with him when he saw him so his excuses although predictable, are quite pathetic and cringeworthy. It would seem it was clearly his intention from the outset to push it as far as he could without it damaging his credit rating and why? It seems it was all because you asked where your long over due back box was in public on here, clearly doesn't take much to provoke an extreme and self damaging reaction from him. Same can easily be said with Beebub mess and how he reacted to that.
No doubt these incidents are costing him plenty of business one way or the other and I'm willing to bet it still will going forward. Ill also bet a lot of the folks on here that still sing his praises wouldn't actually trust him with any money up front these days having seen this play out.

Once again glad you've finally got your money back. I know you probably just want to draw a line under it but I'd report this sorry mess to trading standards, at least that way if he's doing this sort of thing to others it will strengthen their case against him. I have to say despite my past issues with Mike, I would never have had him down for stooping to this and his treatment of Beebub.

I just hope this thread now serves as a warning to others.

And people still choose to give this guy money. Imbeciles

Glad to hear you've been reimbursed. Unfortunately this has most likely ruined your trust in buying things online, which is a shame as almost all of us are trustworthy, honest enthusiasts

EDITED:
His Mike still about? He did a great job for me on my E85.
Does he do stuff on E89 as well? I'm struggling to understand if this is the same Mike on the way into Liverpool who dealt with me two years ago.... on my E85 he relocated my roof motor, did the back box modification, fixed a few other niggles and also recharged the AC system. He was friendly, helpful, gave me tons of advice about Z4 ownership and nothing was too much trouble.
