Bit mean, more like badly built engine by the sounds of things, who knows, danny does sound like he enjoys the 'thrill of driving though! for that I can't blame him too much

It’s a bit of a s**t state of affairs that only a 1983 Passat can withstand my driving for a prolonged period of time.
