Well back home – what an epic holiday
After a miserable start weather-wise we managed 2 full days of driving and covered the Island from top to bottom.
October is always going to be a gamble with the weather, however the roads are clear
Total miles covered 1,076
Average 30.7 mpg

Excellent stuff Colin ! Your second video on Skye, the road climbing up the Quiraing and over to Uig is just the most amazing landscape isn't it ? Almost Icelandic scenery.
I could just jump in the Zed and set off right now !

So pleased you got some good days - it's so worth the long drive up to get the isolated and quiet roads.
Recommend the NC500 with a hope you get the good weather for the views - brilliant run to do with others

Lovely photos and the lonely whitewashed cottage looked wonderful despite the weather.

We still haven't managed to get out Bottom ( that sounds wrong
) and I won't get any time off until the New Year but we will.
