Reading between the lines, I think this is all your fault for moving house, Stuart. :P
You are just lucky I didn’t head into the fens to be closer to you my friend. That would damage your house prices!
If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

I know you would miss me more than you think, so for that reason I have decided to stay. :P

The wife and I did have a short conversation about perhaps getting a G29 in the future, so I could have another one that I don't own at some point!
I have to say that the purchase experience was really enjoyable. It was a pleasure to meet Andy and his good lady and of course Holly the Golden Retriever.
It now means that my well sorted 2.5i will be for sale when I get my act together.

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Now that its sold, what was the real reason for selling it?
Did you knacker something when you were trying to change the plugs?
I honestly thought the halfords project would have been sold first. :)

Ian has only put a deposit down so far, so I couldn't possibly say! :poke:

Seriously, though, it is purely down to a lack of space/ parking. Now we have the hideous Mini aswell, there just isn't room for 4 cars and the little Z4 is used the least so is the one to be 'sacrificed'. As said, we are more than happy it is going where it is, as we may even get visiting rights!!

Now I've got to do something with the POS Mini, as I think the cam chain is knackered (the infamous Mini 'death rattle'). Bad bad mistake I made buying that thing, but I've put all new tyres and brakes on it and got the wheels sorted so it owes too much to bin it! :headbang:

As for "the Halfords project", that ain't going anywhere. Best car I've ever owned....and I mean EVER! It's brilliant!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Don’t be silly. I bought it to look at it. Andy only sold it to me on the basis I wouldn’t drive it on the roads. 😜

You forget. We live in Lincolnshire...we don't really go in for all these 'rules' and 'laws'.

Funnily enough I was chairman of the Parish Council until earlier this year when I retired after twenty years. However, before you say ‘ I thought so……’ We had no control over planning matters. My garage had previously been a carport used when we had a caravan and I applied for planning permission to add cladding etc to change it into a lockable garage/workshop. I completely refute the accusation that the £5000 I gave to the planning officer had anything to do with the decision to let me go ahead. :D
