What are you doing at your computer that you need to wash your hands :o

Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

So if everyone used disposable plastic gloves when putting fuel in their cars (like most of the girls on this thread! :poke: ), that would equate to around 15,000,000 pairs of plastic gloves being thrown away every week; just in the UK. Based on re-fuelling once a fortnight average.

A pair of gloves weigh around 2 grams. That is 30 tonnes of extra plastic every year just to stop your precious little pinkies getting a bit smelly!

No hope of saving the planet with that little past-time! :D
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Yes but I won’t get Covid. Plus the Covid years has made me realise just how filthy the British public are. How many times have you seen someone have a pee in a public toilet and leave without washing their hands?

Or sneezing and coughing into their hand and then picking up food and then putting it back on the supermarket shelf. Etc.

Only on the occasion I go to one! :D

One thing that I do, though, is when I get a used car, I always thoroughly clean the steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake. They are usually minging!

They could always be recycled/reused, so just remember when you're bending over at the docs the useful previous life that glove has had :)

Moving swiftly on, we now also understand the water shortage in this country as too many people wash their hands now :P

[/quote]If you think about all the places you have been and the things you have touched, more hygienic if you washed your hands BEFORE you go and have a pee.
