Not my car, but i just happened to visit the local dealership, and they had this M40i in the showroom, all very festive...

Took my Z4 to the Lakes at the weekend. Glorious roads.

Looks like you've driven many of the great lakes roads. I know them pretty well.....

I was loaned a book on driving the lakes authored by Stirling Moss. So I followed his suggestions and it was terrific!

Brilliant photos. I definitely recognise the pass. You also made me wonder why I haven't been to the Lakes for 20 years. Actually, I know the reason... children. I used to spend 3-4 weeks every year up there walking and climbing in my care free days.
