Washed number one son’s G29 this morning and found that you can’t stand the wipers up on end to clean the screen ! Great colour but brought back memories of an XR2i I had in the 80’s which was black and needed constant cleaning :(

Very nice. There’s usually a sequence with the ignition/button and the wiper stalk to put it in service mode. They will then be quarterway up the screen and you can pull them up.

Careful you don’t just pull them up otherwise bonnet edge will scratch.

Also be careful not to reverse the process without folding them down again! Made that mistake on my 3-series!

Great tip thank you ! He was sleeping off nights and I didn’t have the keys otherwise I’d have taken it for a blast and ruined my hard work with a thousand flies :lol:
