It certainly is like the North West of Scotland.
Except there's no Rain, single track roads and no Midges and a distinct lack of speed traps.
We also drive on the right side of the road which is the left.
Midgie: Terrifying, tiny, blood-sucking, wee b*****d of an insect that chews lumps out of folk, mostly on the West Coast of Scotland.
