Bing , apologies , meet starts 7.30pm , crap weather , tvrs spread out round the park at the Aviator hotel which is a very nice place - aerodrome meet for pilots. Another ex tiv chap was there in his commute car - nissan gtr ! His fun car is a real countach ! I've had a ride in it and promised him a ride in the black beastie if I could have another in the countach. Will get some pics sorted . Pity you aren't nearer here you would be most welcome . Try turning up to the kent tvr meet which is 4th monday evening at the bullfinch london rd sevenoaks tn13 2dr and say you've been given an invite by the RO of northants tvr club ! They like other people theer anyway , give someone a run out and your there for good !

+1 sold Griff 500 and bought MC three years ago.

Never looked back and nice to have a car that windscreen wipers work when it rains, starts after refuelling and always makes it to the destination. Only downside has been MC depreciation versus increase with Griff over same period.

Even with Gruppe M still miss the V8 noise....

I still cant get used to everything working on the Zed! its just habit that you expect things to go wrong after the TVR, i agree with depreciation though TVR`s are good for this & as much as i love the straight six the AJP in the Cerb is a different animal in terms of sound. :)

Thanks very much for sharing Hunter :) i am with you i would love a Sag but they are holding their money incredibly well compared to the rest of the range, a mate of mine went from a Cerb to a Tam & he loves the Tam loads.

My Zed has decided to behave like my TVR now, only had it four weeks & the windscreen washer bottle is leaking already, it feels like home from home to me now! :o

I went from my first Z to a TAM.http://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 9&start=15 ..we had a great relationship..i fettled it with love and care and it tried to kill me every time the road was even slightly damp. lol. Never once had any mechanical issuses tho. I traded it in for a FQ400...always regreted it. :(
Washer bottle? sometimes crack on the platic bit where the hose joins...take it off and seal it with a plastic glue.

Wow! you have had some cracking motors Hunter, piccies look great from the thread

Thanks for the tip regarding the washer bottle, i will investigate! :)

I drove a 330bhp Evo when i was looking to buy my cerb, it made me feel like the best driver in the world, but i wasnt too sure about the boy racer image at the time though so ended up buying the cerb instead, i bet that FQ400 went like the clappers! :driving:

The 400 was fast if you kept it spinning..which isnt always a good way to drive...i also had a FQ340 which was tinkered with and runnind at 412bhp..that was faster..
