As per your other post, it is a £1500+ investment if you don't already have tyres to put on. And, by investment, I mean money spent that you'll never get back

If the distance wasn't so great a trial fit might be viable, but as you say it's a bit too far to find out they don't!jenniferlouise wrote: Sun Apr 03, 2022 9:58 amCaught in a dilemma nowMr Tidy wrote: Sat Apr 02, 2022 11:29 pm I don't know anything about the M-Performance brakes on the E89 as I haven't had an E89!
But they were fine on my E90 330i with 330mm front discs.
Although B21 suspects they may not work - perhaps the bigger caliper needs more clearance?
Hopefully someone will know!my discs are 330 too. Having measured, looks to be about 30mm clearance between current 19” 326M alloy and the Performance calliper, which don’t come further forward than the wheel hub. I suspect, if these rims fitted the E90, it would fit the Z4. It’s a long way to come to get it wrong… but at the mo I can’t go anywhere in the Zed anytime soon.
Couple of pics to show my point.
This is really helpful.... just been under the Z4 and tried to measure what a 437 9J and 10J would do... the fact you say they fit with no rubbing is very encouraging, as I judge there is about 20mm clearance at a couple of places with the 326 9J (on 255/30 rubber) at the rear, so taking into account a loss of 12.7mm with a 10J (275/35) that cuts the clearances very tight!jenniferlouise wrote: Mon Apr 04, 2022 8:56 pm [quote=john-e89 post_id=1916183 time=1649011039 user_id=18625
My 35i is on 235\35\19 fronts and 275\30\19 rear 437's, I 'think' the fronts maybe a little stretched and require a 245 tyre, however I have zero rubbing and that's with a 20mm drop from M sport springs, so 30mm from non M sport springs. I've also added 10mm spacers all round to clear the front spring perches on the KW coil overs and still never had a rub, front or rear, for your info.

Clearly to buy new alloys would work best if I can try a few options. Presently I can’t move the car.jenniferlouise wrote: Mon Apr 04, 2022 8:56 pm [quote=john-e89 post_id=1916183 time=1649011039 user_id=18625
How much influence do looks have in your descision Jen...?
I’ve had some positive news from members here on the forum that may give me an opportunity to simply replace the single damaged wheel.
I’ve slowed down to avoid rushing a big financial decision. The conversations on here are so helpful too.
Yep I got my Veemann’s, the AllSeasonContacts and TPMS for the SL from them, great service and advice
That is great news.jenniferlouise wrote: Wed Apr 06, 2022 4:05 pm Thanks again to the wonderful community on this forum I have managed to get a replacement, undamaged 326M alloy, which will enable me to at least get my car MoT, taxed and mobile.
