Very nice Lee

I’m loving mine, especially since it’s a manual as I haven’t driven one since selling my Z4M in 2015

Had a mini f56 so, was great. Great mpg, fast, all the trimmings. Heads up display, kk stereo.
Loved it. Changed it for my e89.
Love the e89 more.

Had an R53 Cooper S as a company car. Took delivery in October 2003 and managed to clock up 75,000 miles in the next 3 years. Absolutely loved it and there were no mechanical issues with it during my ownership. It did like to go through front tyres rather quickly!
I have also owned a mint low mileage GP1 about 5 years ago. That was a cracking car too and got lots of attention. Wish I had kept that one but it had to make way for an M Roadster.

I had the same in 2017 - less fortunate with mechanical issues!

It would overheat if stationary in traffic for more than about 30 seconds. I got full value from the AA that year.

One of my favourite cars nonetheless, always put a smile on my face. Well, less so when broken down, but you know what I mean...

Just followed a Bini through Gunnislake. It had Cooper S on the back, but man it was huge. Alas I don't know enough about the range to hazard a guess which model they have now stuck that once sacred branding on. :( Hopefully you are getting something more car sized.

Roof down motoring really adds to the driving experience I reckon. 8)

Those Cooper S stripes look good on your old one.

I'm on my 4th Mini since 2003, current 2017 Countryman Cooper S with the 8 speed auto/paddles has been faultless so far and still a great package, giving decent performance/handling/comfort and space. I've done 33k miles and it's still on the original rear tyres, fronts lasted about 22k. Long-term mpg has been 36-39 mpg on V-power, and I can tell within a few days if it has 95 octane in as pick up is noticeably sluggish.

Only critism is the inability to fit a tow bar to Countryman Cooper S / JCW or All4 models due to exhaust positions, although a couple of after-market makers appear to list lightweight bars that are supposed to fit, I'm not sure if other models are affected? But that's nit-picking.

Enjoy :driving:
