Happy that your happy with your DA, but that’s a shocking ‘Review’ you’ve linked too...

PMSL... ‘comes with a wavy sponge’ in one of the ‘reviews’ and the yellow drill shaped one looks absolutely shocking at No4 and, I quote... This is the High-Quality Best Car Polisher UK for the cars.

Like you, having no previous experienceI asked for advice from the Forum before doing anything. Eventually I bought a DAS 6 Pro last Spring at the start of the first lockdown and watched loads of videos. The weather was kind and it took me about a week to do the job. Very satisfying.

This says it all for me and as an owner of one I agree with. "This is the best dual action polisher for beginner UK."
The DAS Pro is better but a lot more expensive. Trust me for a beginner who uses a machine once or at most twice a year this is a great product.

I didn’t mean the review of your machine, I read through the whole link and all the ‘reviews’

Do you still have the E39? I'm possibly getting confused but I think I remember your car from the BMWLand days!

If you're trying to save a few bob, check out eBay and other marketplaces. People are always selling them.
How did you find the Pro plus compared to the Pro?

Considering upgrading my machine and selling my old Pro

Easier to handle, less vibration and better cutting from a DA (think that is due to the throw). Felt like an upgrade from my Pro in terms of finishing. Still limited though in terms of pad sizes so I'm looking at a 1 inch / 2 inch polisher from Carbon Collective for those tight areas. Hope that helps.
