Well that's a great saving, and I love the colour.
I hope the week doesn't drag too much!

Well, the car now has just over 630 miles on it now and I must say I am really enjoying it. I’ve been driving it no harder than the 4000rpm mark and it’s already very fast. I took it to the Goodwood breakfast club and lots of people looked and pointed and turned heads. I know it’s not a subtle colour but even so, I was surprised at the attention.
I like the sound of it (even if it is fake sometimes) and it sticks to the tarmac very well. The boot is a good size and it’s comfortable and spacious.
The nav has crashed once, so I’m keeping an eye on that and the passenger door card had an annoying rattle last weekend but has since disappeared.
Annoying things... there’s no boot release from inside the car.
The driver profiles are quick to reset and you have to ‘login’ each time
The air con is always on. Unless you go into the menu to switch it off. There’s no button on the dash for A/C on/off
My S5 remembered the different climate settings for when the roof was up and down and adjusted them accordingly. A shame that isn’t a feature here.
The Harmon Kardon stereo isn’t as good as I was hoping it would be. Despite lots of tweaking and changing settings it isn’t as powerful as other HK systems I’ve had in my 2011 320d and 2018 X5. It is very obvious that there’s speakers in front and behind you.
Still, these are all minor points and don’t overly detract from the general feel of the car. I already love it more than the S5 and can’t wait to use it more. There’s a road trip to Germany planned after Easter next year and I think it will cope well with that.
With a real mixture of driving and the fact it’s so new, it’s averaging 30mpg, which I think is quite good.
