Probably going to play Argentina next, though. So maybe not for long!
Currently watching that match and have to say the Dutch ‘team’ have nothing much to worry them from
10 average individuals if they can keep Messi quiet

I've got it paused to watch a bit later. Presume the Aussies have set a 7-2.5-0.5 formation, though?

Nope. Argies thinking they’re back in the Malvinas 😉

Yeah but France would have been two up by the time England started to play. If Walker can’t keep up in this game what is Mbappe going to do to him???

France and Argentina have one horse pony's. They look ordinary.
England have turned up with how many goal scorers now ?

Just need Pickford now to get one and a full set :D

Trouble is with one trick ponies of the class of Mbappe and Messi, sometimes that's all you need.

Mbappe is probablly the stand out player of the tournament so far

However, he is up against 11 very good England players

I respectfully disagree. Messi is still awesome and Jude Bellingham, given the ball, is absolutely fantastic. He's 19!
Terrible first 35 minutes form England, but once settled in, Bellingham, Saka, Foden and (I hate to say it) Kane were world class. Luke Shaw also put in a good shift (as always).

England CAN win the world cup. We have the players. Whether they do, or not, depends on nerves and self-belief IMHO.

Great win, strong, disciplined performance. Another clean sheet. Our village club was bouncing. Bring on France.
