have a gander at the install files you used to install INPA.
You should find the following program there: Referenz\Install\Instprog.exe

run that and it should install all the reference files for you! :thumbsup:

Was this right?

that's the program - but you need to select "BMW Group Rectification programs UK" from that "Please select the configuration" page.

But i chosed "! no configuration !", what do i do now? try to install the Instprog.exe again over the old?

And will it be right if i choose UK? Im not located in UK and my car is LHD?

omg, now i understand what u mean, u wanted me to install the Instprog.exe that u sended to me! I installed something else, inside my INPA map i have a map called "Referenz.2005" and inside that there is a map called "INSTALL" and inside that is Instprog.exe, that one did i install!

use your one again.. shouldnt be an issue.
dont think it will make a difference your car being lhd for what we want to do... just means the menu options and text will be english ;)

in regards to mine, you just extract it anywhere... but if you follow my instructions, c:\inpainstall would make sense.
the zip i gave you is just a zip of the install program.. and likely the same one youre using.

Its not working, my INPA is still the same, just "Info" and "Script" available.

1. Im Installing INPA (this is my INPA map)

INPA -> Programminstallation -> setup

2. Extracting ur "Ediabas-6.4.3-full" to the root of c:

3. Ediabas-6.4.3-full -> INSTALL -> Instprog

Then I follow ur instructions how to install it but without sucess.

Im doing this on a Windows 7 Ultimate (fake copy), should there be any problems? I've checked both the Instprog.exe and setup.exe with "Run this as Windows XP Service Pack 3".

Maybe you can send me your INPA installing files and I will try with them?

Hi bud, no - it sounds like your running everything fine.
The problem with sending my files is that I've mangled them around to do some of the stuff I've been trying to do, and won't necessarily work with your cable / car.

What I was going to suggest is perhaps we get together on Skype on day this weekend and see if we can do a bit of remote support (run logmein/teamviewer and let me have a dabble with the whole thing remotely). Might save us a whole lot of grief?

Yea that sound awesome, just tell me a time and date and I'll adjust after that. Teamviewer works great, we should try that.
Should I uninstall everything so it's cleaned when you do your magic?

no no..leave it as is for now.. if we need to refresh it, we'll do it together :)

How does 3pm Saturday strike you?

Umm 3pm, I'm located in Sweden so it is 16.00 Saturday here I think, it's ok, or today I got all day! And tomorrow all day!

For people searching for BMW Error code 20 70 28. I had this same code and found the real code in the 'Satellite B-pillar Left'. I had to go there to clear it to get the airbag light to go off.

The Google Translate description says "9855 Resistance of squib Zk2(E85: Left front airbag level 2/E6x: Right active headrest) too high"
