How do replace a wing mirro glass

Not something I would use, some have used Araldite although I didn't want to trust glue again because the reason many mirrors fall out is because the glue gets brittle.

Hmmm, could you recommend some double sided sticky pads then please. Thickness more than anything cheers
 
My passenger side glass fell off on the way from kent to Poole... Used silicone and it seems fine now, heats up well too. Only thing is it has abviously come off before as the passenger side isn't the same as the drivers which now I've noticed, really bugs me
