Re: Electric Folding Mirrors
Not available in the UK. I have the folding mirrors, but they only fold from the button INSIDE the car, not possible via remote.

I'm sure it is the same marketing and legal departments at BMWNA that take away all of the fun things.Rasalon wrote:Ahh, , and whose bright Idea was it to leave it out for Noth America?

Re: Electric Folding Mirrors
It was an option to have them but no idea about how they are triggered, would imagine they automatically swing in upon locking the car. Its shown as a £160 option on the current bmw car configurator option code 313.pvr wrote:Not available in the UK. Yes, that is what I have. But you can not control them with the key, only with the button inside the car.

Re: Electric Folding Mirrors
the German http://www.racing24.de website sells 'Spiegel Anklapp Modules' which are said to be Z4 compatible
for cars that have folding mirrors available, the module triggers the mirrors to auto fold when the ignition is turned off...

Re: Electric Folding Mirrors
If I tried to use that method, my wife would certainly make sure the mirrors never stuck out again........ever!
