Does the zip tie for gaiter go round the end of the handle ?

[quote="sd_dracula"]Need to replace my handbrake handle and was wondering, in the post above, the cover with the silver trim, is that an OEM part?
If yes, does anyone know the part number?

Re: Removing Hand Brake and Cover
I replaced mine yesterday. The gaiter is attached to the handle by a zip tie.
You need to pull the gaiter and surround up first of all. And then hit the back of the handle with your hand and the handle will come off the handbrake with the gaiter attached.
Refitting is just the opposite.
Hope that made sense.
