anyone like to recommend a high quality 12 point spline bit which wont ruin the bolts?

Give the bolts a lengthy soaking of plusgas & you will need to be firm but fair with a mallet to part the stars from the rim :oops:
If you have a friendly garage as i do its much easier to soak them then offer a easy £20 to loosen all bolts :wink:
I doubt you will manage them all with 1 single spline but best of luck :thumbsup:

I've split my 108 and a set of JCW split rims down with this tool now. No dramas, tool still looks like it just came out of the box.
