I don't know what it is about them. Just such fantastic cars and can be had so cheap now! They really do provide such a raw experience and they are much nicer to drive than the Elise was, it felt bland in comparison. They're also ridiculously cheap to keep running, brakes & pads all round are about £250, tyres all round cost me £280 last time, spark plugs are £2 each, the list goes on!Gargybloke wrote:Hi and welcome, tell us more about vx220's as you seem familiar with them.
There is also very little that goes wrong on the 2.2 N/A engines, the 2.0 Turbos have a few more issues and the debate among owners is similar to the hard top/soft top debate here.
The 2.2 is lighter and therefore obviously much more nimble (I would say that having owned 4 though!!)
