I read a great review somewhere (might have been Pistonheads). This guy had idolised the '65 'Stang since he was a little boy, started saving, and as soon he could and bought one..... To find out that it was a massive disappointment.

By the time you do, it'll be at least 15-20 years old.

I'm still amazed at the price. I drove a 500bhp saloon at the weekend, and it cost £75k new. What was the E60 M5 new? £60k?

Assuming 25% added to the cost to cover duty, tax etc (total stab in the dark), that's still only £42.5k....
Z4M Coupe - Imola Red 2006 sold. What next?

Boss upgraded in nearly every vehicle system; engine output, brakes, suspension, interior and exterior all examined to optimize weight, aerodynamics and track performance

I had the V6 version a couple of weeks ago as a hire car. It wasn't too shabby in a straight line and made a lovely noise. Not far off a Z4 3.0i in performance (the earlier 231 model of Z4), a fair bit heavier but the extra power and torque offsets it.

In the handling stakes, well, it wobbled like a jelly on a plate!

The lesser models like the V6 and GT tend to have the live rear axle, the Cobra and Shelby models have independent suspension at the back. That was certainly the case with the previous model sold up to 2006 anyway. The V6 of the old model was rubbish, this newer shape Mustang was much better!
Gone: Z4 3.0i SMG Titanium Silver/Black, Z4MR Sepang Bronze/Sepang, Z4MR Silver Grey
