By the time you do, it'll be at least 15-20 years old.
I'm still amazed at the price. I drove a 500bhp saloon at the weekend, and it cost £75k new. What was the E60 M5 new? £60k?
Assuming 25% added to the cost to cover duty, tax etc (total stab in the dark), that's still only £42.5k....

"Boss returns! Limited production 2012 Mustang Boss 302 set to become the quickest, best-handling straight-production Mustang ever offered by Ford, based on the world-class foundation provided by the 2011 Mustang GT
Boss upgraded in nearly every vehicle system; engine output, brakes, suspension, interior and exterior all examined to optimize weight, aerodynamics and track performance"
Sounds like they have been listening!!!!

Re: 2011 Shelby GT500
I had the V6 version a couple of weeks ago as a hire car. It wasn't too shabby in a straight line and made a lovely noise. Not far off a Z4 3.0i in performance (the earlier 231 model of Z4), a fair bit heavier but the extra power and torque offsets it.
In the handling stakes, well, it wobbled like a jelly on a plate!
The lesser models like the V6 and GT tend to have the live rear axle, the Cobra and Shelby models have independent suspension at the back. That was certainly the case with the previous model sold up to 2006 anyway. The V6 of the old model was rubbish, this newer shape Mustang was much better!
