Post by Woots » Thu Apr 22, 2010 3:38 pm

random question
a few weeks ago i was at a vw garage with a mate
and i spotted a white polo all tarted up
like a gti but it seemed more halfordisshh
it looked amazing...had like red spoliers etcetc kinda like a fiat 500 abarth
im pretty sure it wasnt actually a golf gti cos it seemed less tame
any ideas guys?

I have a Polo in my fleet as well, not a bad little car. Very solid, no rattles. No way it could keep up with Woots of course ;)

So it wasn't an S2000 rally spec one then?

What dealer was this? Polo R isn't out until 2012!

Sure it wasn't something like a Polo with ABT kit?

Sounds like a modified, non-standard car. Although I didn't know they were doing a Polo R, that should be interesting if they can make it as good as the Golf GTI, R and the Scirocco...
