Maggie Valley, NC Fall Foliage Drive Oct. 19-21
Hello, we are planning on attending the Alanta groups fall drive in Maggie Valley, NC. Last year was our first year and we had a blast, the folliage was at it's peak and the weather was great. We had over 30 Z's in attendance. If anyone is interested you can find info at http://www.atlantaz3.com. We are leaving from the Jacksonville, Fl area on the 19th early morning, going up I-95 to 26 with a stop in Columbia for lunch. If anyone is interested, check it out! This shot was Mt Mitchell, this spring.

I want to go.
We don't get much of the fall colors out west here. We get green and brown and that is about it. Have fun and post some pics, so those of us that are less fortunate can enjoy.

Just got back from the Maggy Valley weekend. Another great job by the Atlanta Club and some of the South Carolina clubs members. Weather was great and leaves were still turning. We had about 36 cars and a surprise visit by a pretty rare BMW who participated in the drive also.

We spent some time on very tight roads that lead to some pretty spirited driving. Those pictures came out to blurry to post. The Blue Ridge Parkway is always a great drive!!

Beautiful! I can't wait for my PA drive in a couple of weeks, sorry I missed it. Been working as much as possible before my trip.
Lovely rocks along side the road.

OK,OK, enough of the fantastic pics. I do miss all the fall colors.( originally from Ohio ) I was always told that the yellow colored leafs were a softer wood tree and the red leafs was the hard wood trees. Very simply, beautiful.
