Re: How to make glowing rims?
When I was a kid I used to put wooden lollypop sticks on my bike forks to go clicky on the spokes. Can I please do this on my luminous rims? or would this ruin the aesthetic appeal?

i used to run over a coke can and jam it against the brakes and pretend i was a motorbike!
lollypop sticks sound safer for a high spec car with glowing rims, neons, massive spoile, funny horn etc etc

I saw some middle aged chap do this to a Fosters can on a busy road, It jammed in his front forks and he went straight over the handlebars !!Rudd_2002 wrote:i used to run over a coke can and jam it against the brakes
He narrowly missed a car thank god, but it was bloody funny.

If toast always lands jam side down, and a cat always lands on its feet, what happens when you strap a piece of toast, jam side up, to the back of a cat?

Setting the money you would spend on those rims on fire would be a better use of the money in my opinion!

Re: How to make glowing rims?
no "tool".. just elipse shape and brush.
basically, you select the area for the "outer glow" and paint it the colour you want (neon green in this example).
then, set that layer to be a "hard light" layer.
that gives the base glow.
then, using the elipse shape, draw a few smaller and smaller elipses directly under the car, again setting the light to hard light.
the final, top elipse should be white, as this gives the massive "shine".
if that doesn't make any sense.. I'll try and do a "howto" for it
