At first we could see the bolt, but when we got a magnet down there, we couldn’t get it to move, and then it dropped down into the oil you see in the video. So it’s in that oil there - I just need to know where that is.

Dropped Bolt Where Is It? (video)
Alright. Rookie mistake. When trying to replace the valve cover gasket, I dropped a bolt down one of the oil channels (I think that’s what they’re called). The video attached shows where it ended up. There’s oil down there, but I’m not sure if that’s the oil pan, the oil pump, or where that is. Please help. If it’s the oil pan, I need to replace the gasket anyway and can start that laborious process. But I don’t know where the video shows that bolt actually landing.
