Newbie to the world of the Z4 here. Just acquired a 2003 2.5 Roadster in Merlot Red from my father-in-law. Relatively low mileage for the year (63k) and stunning bodywork and very decent leather interior to go with it. Roof is working fine, and looking and feeling very solid (when it's up, it's mostly down when I've driven).
Will get some piccies done when I have a moment in my busy life. However, out of the various Z forums I have frequented recently, this one gets my vote.
Cheers
Geoff

Edit: Finally a few shots...

Welcome.
If you have a sense of humour and don't take internet forums too seriously, this is the best IMO. It also helps (but not essential) if are interested in Z4s too!

There is a very well-respected forum member, enuff_zed, who either hails from Littlehampton, or it was his nick-name in the RAF. Not sure which TBH. :D
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

2024 Audi A4 avant 40 black edition petrol
2025 Ford Focus ST 'track pack'. Go-kart with sat nav.
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half.
No Z4 anymore!

Thanks folks, appreciate the welcome. And yeah, I'm generally in a GSOH/friendly banter state of mind, and this sort of thing was evident here moreso than other t'internet places I've checked out over the past few weeks. So, in for a penny...etc. :)

Hi, welcome to the forum, photos please when you’re ready. Always nice to see other members Zeds
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

I know them well from when my mate used to race on the oval at Eastbourne Stadium.

Your car looks great in Merlot with 107 style wheels.

Yeah I'm just beginning to learn about the different wheel styles from BMW, and the 107s seem to work well with that colour to my eye.

If you possibly mean Arlington Stadium which is just north of Eastbourne, I used to frequent there with a mate of mine when he raced a MK1 Escort back in the 80's. That's the 1980's btw lol. Happy days indeed and great memories.

It was Arlington but I seem to remember Spedeworth called it Eastbourne.

My mate raced there in the late 80s/early 90s in Saloon Stocks, Stock Rods then Hot Rods. The egg burgers were fantastic. :D

Hello There!
Happy new owner of E85 2006 2.5si.
Enough power for me and need some tidying up to keep me busy.
Just moved the roof motor in to the boot and had wheel alignment done by an ex BMW techie.
Car is a dream to drive especially in the current weather.
