Front brake kit questions

I'm curious about the options below to see if they are a direct drop-in or if there are any issues with fitting a 370 on the front.


I was looking at the M Sport Blue, which I believe fits max 348mm x 30mm
While the M performance below supports 370x30
Probably going to go used either way.

I want brake balance, so improvements to the OEM rear would be needed. But I also want it to look good and fill out. 18" APEX SM-10 wheels

I understand there's also the below, which supports the 370mm. Wondering what most would recommend

You won’t need to change the rears if you are using 370mm with F30 calipers

Well within acceptable limits
 
Thanks, Any idea if the black ones work? looks to be unbranded bmw brembo at a much better price than what i can find.
 
The cheapest way is to buy pattern 340mm calipers ..not the factory 370/380 calipers..then buy a 380mm caliper bracket adapter from eBay or other sources and use M2/M4 disks..

Subject to pressing out the captive ‘nuts’ in the calipers with the fresh ones supplied with the adapter bracket it’s the cheapest and easiest solution by far..

In Europe Ridex/ ABS amongst others supply pattern parts..

The 340 and 370/380 caliper pad is identical..

Obviously a change in pad compound such as Ferodo DS2500 will add more bite..then the same pad on the rear would help balance it out..

I do see 345 and 370 rear kits with M5 / F series 5 calipers for more grip / bite / endurance .

And to clairfy (im dense) The blue M sport (mbadge) 340mm calipers is what youre referring to?

Yup that looks like a version of the same idea…so any 340mm F type BMW or copy should work..

My kits will go on sale later in July or August..just finalising pricing / package options

More complex sadly than the fronts

Thanks, pulled the trigger on the Blue M Sports. Easier to swallow buying bit by bit spaced out :D

Awesome, I'll keep my eyes peeled for when you release them.
 
It appears that these brackets specifically state 380 and indicate that they don't support 370.

Where have you guys sourced other adapter plates from?
