Bumpers back from my paint man…’donkey punch’ removed from rear bumper..he used 2k industrial primer before 2k top coat and 2k lacquer..

Extra lacquer coat on rear diffuser (not shown)..to help stop the gravel rash on hooks..

He reported the front bumper had been repaired and painted badly at least twice…you never really know the history of a second hand car..

Volvo XC70 is the perfect support vehicle for an E89..

Plan for world domination goes slowly…

Managed to sort out a lower cost brake pad spring clip…Ford wanted 400 USD for 2 sets of clips n pins…used some pattern BMW M8 Brembo caliper pins….so assembled the front calipers…M5 rears now painted ready to be rebuilt with new seals n pistons..

Awaiting a much delayed set of bolts from USA ..7 weeks and counting..plus M5 rear dust shields on back order..

There's three entrypoints into one exit point, twice. You have a six cylinder engine, which matches. Shielding for exhaust manifolds?

They do look a bit VR Headset meets industrial requirements though.

So, tonight I fitted my new m sport rear bumper along with a boot spoiler and new rear badge, then gave it a 2 stage machine cut and polish. Really happy with how it's turning out now.
