Broken storage bin latch, buttons and center console plastic: suggestions for repair/replacement?

My recently acquired 2007 3.0 I came to me with broken central console plastic and broken storage bin latch buttons. Wondering if the latch buttons are available and can be replaced? Also wondering if the upper storage bin can be opened without the latch button in place? And looking for suggestions on how to cover up the broken plastic in the center console and between the two roll bar hoops without purchasing a $1200 center console.

The upper "latch button" is to manually release the convertible top from the lowered locked position if the hydraulic system fails. I would imagine the latches are missing because the bits that they attach to on the back of the cover are broken and missing.

The fwd and rear center console are best obtained by getting used ones due to cost and availability. The two most rear plastic pieces near the roll bars are cheap and available through BMW.

Console buttons are available on aliexpress, they are the same as original. They come in black so you have to paint them in beige. About 20€ each.

Be careful removing the centre console cover, some clips may break but you can attach them again using epoxy glue.

EDIT: Storage can be opened without a button. I know I have figured it out but I forgot how. I think you have to pull down the part with the spring.

You could probably get a whole new rear and centre console on eBay in that colour. Looks like they might be needed.
Good videos on YouTube showing the process.
Good luck.
