Maybe time to go back to using BMW main dealers for service?
My last visit at the end of July (or should I say last 3 visits for them to 'finish' the job - oil service, air filter, microfilter, fuel filter, brake fluid) had them phoning me pointing out I had asked for stuff that the iDrive wasn't asking for.
This was despite me telling them 1) when I booked it in online, 2) when I onfirmed this with the servicing assistant over the phone, and 3) when I spoke to them on the morning of my fastlane service to hand over the keys. The fastlane service never happened because they decided on the day that they don't offer that service and I'd have to go home and await their call.
Even when I picked it up - the following day, because they called to say it was ready 5 minutes before they were closing - they told me they hadn't done the brake fluid change I'd asked for as it wasn't due
Left it with them again to do the brake fluid service (which was due in September, and I'd added it on to avoid multiple visits), and when I'd picked it up again, and got home, I realised they'd not put any of the services onto the iDrive either.
Was asked to take it back in and they're correct that for me, but they couldn't fit me in for a couple of weeks as they were doing stock-taking and were closed over the weekend.
Finally got it back there about a month later, got the iDrive service schedule updated and went home. Next morning checked the iDrive and it shows the 3 services I asked to be carried out as all overdue!!!
Absolute f***ing waste of time - TWATS!!!

It's one that has the same name as a current F1 team (and it's not Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Aston Martin, RB, Alpine, Haas or Sauber).
From now on, I'll use them for recalls and that's all (I've had 2 done so far on the F31 320D, and I assume they went well
