$676 upgrade amp for subs

Post by Chippie » Wed Aug 14, 2024 10:04 am

A little advice please if anyone can help.
I changed my door, rear speakers and fitted tweeters to my e89, powered through a vibe 4 channel amp, I found that the tweeters were too loud so coded the head unit from stereo to hifi, much better high frequency but now very little bass, so my question is should I fit a 2nd amp to power to sub woofers or change the 4 channel to a 6 channel and will this help with the bass level.

In an ideal world each pair is speakers would be driven by their own two channels..each with its own audio correction factors…

So putting the subs on different channels such that their response can be adjusted independently of others is a good idea..

With the tweeters did you have a cross over between them an the 100mm door speakers?
