Over the winter decided to sell the Coupe

Post by TOMGREEN413 » Thu May 09, 2024 8:03 am

Then after having the Coupe tucked up and protected from the incessant rain in Wales since October....took her out at the weekend for a road trip to Worcester......didn't manage to get a few miles from home before realising l absolutely love the driving experience of these amazing cars.
I was wondering if others on the forum have similar feelings when jumping back into their Z after months out of the driving seat?

I know exactly what you mean.

I got a big bill for a new waterpump on my first Coupe and when someone on here was looking for one invited him to view mine. Next day I took it for a final drive and realised I had made a big mistake. But that evening he rang to put a deposit on it and as he'd come about 130 miles I did the decent thing and took it.

3 days later I'd put a deposit on its' replacement so I was only Zedless 1 day. :D
Coupes because stunning!

I've always been a Coupe kinda guy ( fortunately the wife has the e89 for roof down action) but there really isn't anything much on the roads at a similar price that ticks so many boxes like these cars. It's that rear quarter look that gets me turning for a second look every time and bizarrely reminds me of the curvaceous Viper GTS Coupe we owned back 2000 both very pretty Coupes.

Good call on keeping it and staying in the exclusive coupe club 8)

The last time we had the roof down in my girlfriends Z3 I found it a thoroughly unpleasant experience-it’s basically headache inducing, fatigue machine when the top goes down
