You'll have to be quick if you want to pursue that deal though. By the way, the prices online are always more expensive in comparison to the app for some reason. Good luck
thanks

I think prices change at 11pm tonight to guarantee degree of discount, otherwise the price will increase. Monday's is always a good day to buy. Today is even better day with the discount being at upto 45%. Good luck

Trigger pulled.

I have two Bilstein B4 shocks, two Lemforder rear mounts and four Eibach lowering coils on order for a total price of about £325 I think. Hopefully my local garage can source any sundries needed. I am still concerned that whilst Eibachs / B4s probably work fine it would undoubtedly be better for long-term damper health to ensure that my garage fits bumpers that match the lowered springs... or am I worrying about nothing?

Also, I do kind of have it in mind that I can always not fit the Eibachs and get the garage to just source cheap standard rear coils for under £100 if necessary.

Congrats Fred  Forget buying cheap rear coils, your not going to need them. You've bought yourself a great bit of kit. Get them fitted and enjoy the look(once settled) and the improved drive

You need to get the shorter bump stops front and rear too. Febi Bilstein are fine.

Am I right in saying that bump stop options are "normal" and "sport", and there are no "lowered beyond sport" options? Is this the one?

Length [mm]: 60,3

I'm hoping I don't regret going Eibach... if SE level Suplex had been available and at a comparatively good price I would have kept it relatively stock... but when you can buy 4 decent lowering springs for such a good price it was rude to say no.

My car is on B4 dampers with Eibach springs (fitted by the previous owner). It’s a set up that I’d have fitted myself having used the same combo on my wife’s old 125i, my 335i and her current 330i. It’s quite firm on the Z4, but I’ve not driven a standard car to say if it’s loads firmer. I like the way my car sits especially with some spacers fitted.

Are those 18s?

Sorry... can I ask something else, or seek reassurance regarding 19" wheels? I think I'm probably worrying about nothing given the rear has dropped 50mm with a broken coil and still seems to have a bit of clearance, and given the reassurance elsewhere on this thread.

Can anyone see any issues with running the following set-ups on a E86?

B4s with eibachs running 225/35/19s front / 265/30/19s rear (current tyres)

B4s with eibachs running 235/40/19s front / 275/35/19s rear (these are the largest tyres the wheel manufacturer recommends for my wheels - and they suggested I check clearance before going for these bigger sized tyres.)

I think I'm probably worry about nothing given the rear has dropped 50mm with a broken coil and still seems to have a bit of clearance, but I really do want to make sure I do the right thing.

Yeah, my car is on 18’s.

Given the number of these running 19inch CSL’s you should be fine providing the offset isn’t too aggressive
