Tracking and wheel alignment

Post by Timhouse » Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:19 am

Hi all,
Got an e89 here on a 12 plate
Recently hit a nail and had the drivers side rear wheel become very flat.
Drive it to the garage and they replaced the tyre but the alignment was way out. Taken it back to the garage a few times and they are saying according to their computer the alignment is perfect (they changed the front track rod ends) but when you drive it it’s still very far out and very different to how it was pre nail. Amazingly they won’t drive the car in the road so I can’t prove my point.
Any thoughts - the garage says they have checked the suspension but not sure I trust them now.
Thanks
Tim

Take it to a decent alignment/ suspension specialist
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

Some places do free alignment check.
Then after decide to pay or not to have corrected or not.
