Not long had my car after hankering for a z4 for years but I have had the traction light appear a couple of times.. Well, I presume that's what it is.
Yellow exclamation mark in a triangle with a arrowed circle around it.
A friend plugged it in today and it read code 5e20. Can anyone help as to what this is.

Well, I thought I'd google it on your behalf and it seems to point to an internal pressure sensor within the abs unit.
Apparently this can occur if the brakes have recently been bled and air still left in their, or bled without the abs being activated.
If you use the Autophix 5900, or 7610 they will give you the description, not just a meaningless number.
I believe the Creator 310 and 410 will do the same.
So I'd suggest a little digging back to see if ther car recently had sany brake work done.
Then try a bleed including using software to activate the ABS unit.
If that all fails you could be looking at an ABS unit overhaul.

Thanks for the info.
Believe the brakes were done recently.
So possibly bleeding the system may cure

Well that sounds promising.
You need to find someone who understands that you have to use software to activate the ABS pump as you bleed them.
