So as I solve one problem a new one appears
After about an hour of driving the steering starts squeaking (I have a video I'll try to post) it's more prominent turning right than it is left and then quickly disappears when parked up.

Where is the squeak? Under the dash or down in the engine bay?

Either you have a puffin in the dash or it sounds like a plastic kind of squeak.
I suspect its something getting warm from the heater and expanding enough to rub, then getting clearance again when it cools down.
Only real option is to remove the lower cowl and the footwell panel and try to locate more precisely where it is coming from.
Possibly around the slip ring area?

Monitored this recently, it’s been perfectly fine. Even with two 150 mile journeys in the last two days. I wonder if cleaning products had got somewhere where they shouldn’t have?enuff_zed wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 5:16 pm Either you have a puffin in the dash or it sounds like a plastic kind of squeak.
