Hello

Post by iamnotme » Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:55 pm

Just thought I'd drop a post in here to say hello.

I got my car a few weeks back and have used it a few times, but finally took some pictures when we went out over Sennybridge Training Area, which is mid Wales ish for those that don't know it, at the weekend. We are based near Brecon, so have some great roads to enjoy the car on.

I have a 2006 Z4 3.0si cab with a supercharger fitted. It's currently quite dirty but this Saturday it will look all sparkly new again.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I've a list of things to do to the car including getting the wheels properly refurbished and sorting the woeful xenons, but I am in love with the car. I had to give up riding motorbikes so this is my compensation for that. I'm looking forward to many adventures and happy miles :)

It’s ok, I think it needs a good rolling road session, so I’m taking it to BDS when I get a smaller pulley sorted. When fitted in 2010 it had 390hp on a 3.8” pulley, then it was bought by the previous owner to me who changed it to a 4.5” pulley.

He did get it remapped but I’m not convinced it’s the best, although if you blink at 4k you’ll miss getting the chance to the next gear at 7k. Hopefully Bruno will get it working well again.

The supercharger is a Vortech Engineering one, a V3 SC
