Yes lovely photos from a lovely country, I recently had two weeks near Bled in a village called Ribno…my family have a house in Ribno for the last 15 years, I hope to be back in Slovenia in November….I work doing small removals into Europe and always look for work to Slovenia and back, my last trip was Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, France and Spain 5,300 miles…..but Slovenia is in my heart and it’s great to see a Slovene on here
Very nice, I'm glad you like it here!
I live near Tolmin, you should come around to see it
maybe November for coffee
The sea pictures are however from Croatia, some from islands Cres and Krk, some from "Jadranska magistrala", road from Rijeka to Zadar.
we did a delivery to Tolmin, because the van was full and heavy I wanted to avoid the mountain from bohinjska Bistrica? But we ended up on another mountain
then the delivery was up a mountain at ponikve slab ob idrici 5283
On the way back to Ribno we went the route Logatec to Ljubljana and the highway but there was many bends on the 102? Ideal for a z4 but not a van
The pictures are from a few months ago our house in Ribno and some pictures towards tolmin 3E176C9C-EB46-405E-B95D-62F670B1E9A3.jpeg70D0CF2B-D8EC-4A8F-B72E-1160155DF404.jpegIMG_2673.jpegIMG_2654.jpegIMG_2653.jpegIMG_2639.jpegIMG_2637.jpeg
Yeah, for someone who doesn't know the roads, it's easy to take the worst one
towards Ljubljana the best road is Tolmin - Idrija - Logatec - highway - Ljubljana. Another one, also best for Kranj is Tolmin - Cerkno - Sovodenj - Gorenja vas - Skofja Loka - Kranj/Ljubljana.
From Kranjska gora it's the fastest route to go across Italy and take the Predel pass. You can go directly across Vrsic pass, but be ready for hundreds of tourists up there.
The route from Bohinj, Sorica, Podbrdo... it's scenic but bad road.
However, anywhere you go, there will be plenty of curves
