E89 18’s preferably O.E. (19’s non- OE considered)

Post by True-Blue » Sat Mar 02, 2024 4:28 pm

After a set of 18”/19” wheels and tires for an E89 - or just wheels if the price is right.

(Not style 293 or 294) and not black wheels.

Preferably O.E. For 18’s - would consider good wheels with crap tires, but not paying a premium for crap tires (I categorise run flats as crap) as I’d be replacing the tires if they weren’t at least mid range.

will consider non-O.E. For 19’s (but not OE as they all crack) - Such as veemann or CSL reps but would need to have decent tires fitted, midrange up with a reasonable amount of life.

Preferably not requiring refurbishing and with no cracks or welds please - what have you got?

:D

They are indeed lovely, but I’m not sure they suit the E89?

Yes, but they’re deep dish 19’s… a little different. Plus, I can’t be cleaning two sets of alpina multispokes :o

E89 18’s or 19’s

No, it's the cleaning that would drive me nuts with Alpina wheels!

Those ET34 is what E9* 3 Series cars often had. After a 35is owner fitted a set of 19" Style 230 wheels to his car I bought his 18" 295s and put them on my E86. They're basically the same design just an inch smaller - and were really easy to clean. :)

295s are NLA now and I sold my car with them still fitted, but there must be some around.

Apart from being round and having 5 spokes I don’t really think these look anything like Style 230’s Iain, but they are a great wheel and a set of those would go down a treat. I think that 18’s would be more sensible for her actually, so will amend the opening post

Guessing these are reps? Do you have better pics and do you know the widths and ET’s please?

I ‘think’ the 351’s are originally 5 series wheels. A very similar design to the E89 OEM 326 wheels but stronger as they’re designed for a heavier car.

the offsets are 33 and 44. 8.5j and 9j for the 351
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.
