Plans for life are changing. Got a job offer abroad, so I have to part with my lovely Z4.

For sale.

Sapphire Black 2007 E85 Z4 2.5 Si Sport Roadster
Mileage 135759 miles
MOT 07/24
Black M-Sport heated leather seats
Piano Black Trim fitted [also I will supply original aluminium trim]
BlueMusic Bluetooth adapter connected for phone connection
New battery (2023)
Brake disks/pads replaced.
Spark plugs replaced to NGK Iridium (OEM Recommended)
Starting and running ok.
No tuning/modifications.
ULEZ free
Due to age there are some minor bodyworks imperfections.
All service receipts kept.

Things need to be fixed which i was planned to do before season starts.

Roof is not opening (yellow light in dash)
Vanos solenoids are brand new OEM but check engine light is still on.
Not always but time by time randomly ABS/ESP lights coming up and disappears when engine starting next time. Probably wheel sensors?

Due to circumstances there is no time to fix these things in my timeframe unfortunately.

Not listed anywhere else yet, so Z4 community getting it first. Someone who have a garage, skills and some spare time could get a toy for summer season.

Looking around the fair asking price would be around £3300, I guess. There are not so many 2.5si in the market. Located near Heathrow (off M4/J5)

Yellow light for the roof means either the parcel shelf is in the raised position, or the microswitch is duff.
Check it's lowered. If so then either fit sa new switch or simply bypass it.
One less thing to be haggled on.

GLWTS

Just realize mileage is sligthly lower than I think when posted :D

Looks like the market is very slow now. So my time is running out and first genuine offer will be accepted otherwise i will probably take it with me to Europe which gonna be a bit of trouble because of RHD. Thinking about silly online buyers, no, i will not go for it. As usual forum members will have first priority. Anyway it would be better to give some happiness to someone here.

Surely there must be someone?
If I didn't already have so many on the go..........................

It’s a lovely looking car, I especially like the black dash with the centre console kept aluminium. I keep thinking I would like to do this myself but haven’t know how.

It was a simply laziness, mate. :D I do have central part as well but did not want to install it because it requires much more work 8) however if someone will take it, that central part is in the boot together with original aluminium trims.

I still like it and wouldn't change it though

Yes, got a few calls but no one came to look on it yet. First come first served basis :D Bud who called me today may come on Sunday/Monday but we did not arranged anything yet.

It is a nice looking Z, just not quite what I am looking for for my Top Gear challenge. I will keep an eye on your thread through…

Morning fellas. Tax is ending at the end of month. And I have to be in Europe in March :) So still open for genuine offers. I can really move the price for right buyer now.

2 days until tax expires. Open for best possible offer. I understand market is slow nowadays, hence I m flexible but in human common sense :D

Get an eBay classified add up with ‘best offer’ enabled… I’ve had quite a few Z4’s and they’ve nearly all sold ‘off forum’ despite being advertised here.

It’s a very tough market at them moment.
As above get it advertised on eBay autotrader etc.
yours seemed fairly well priced compared to other for sale on here for ridiculously high prices.

From conversations I've had about this car it seems a few people are put off by the mileage, even though N52 afficionados realise it is only just run in.
The recurring EML would scare a few people off, especially as you already did the Vanos solenoids. Though it could be something as simple as oil in the eccentric cam sensor. Possibly more code reading would show that.
Likewise with the ABS lights. Code reader would hopefully tell you more.
The roof issue is odd as usually I would have said yellow light means the microswitch in the boot, but you say you've addressed that. Electrical gremlins are always a pain.

I know time is short, but if you could get the codes read and add those to the list of issues it may help to convince someone it's an easier fix.

As it stands you have a very limited market as most people would have to factor in garage bills to fix it. Not many would do the work themselves.

Sadly though, absolutely nothing is moving in the E85 market right now.
Even cars below £2k are still sat waiting.

As you're probably aware, a few of us on the forum take these cars on to fix and give another life. I am one, and my only brief is 'don't lose money!' Last year I would have snapped your hand off but now, realistically, even if I fixed it I couldn't guarantee being able to pass it on. I suspect the others are of the same opinion.

Good luck and I hope you find a buyer for it.
